Have you felt like you don't belong, and lost your sense of being? Lots of people have. Do you remember a time in your life when you felt free and your true self? Let's get back to that person!
You hear people say be yourself all the time. Some of us think we are being our true selves, but were not. If you are not happy and feeling satisfied with your life, something needs to change. The biggest thing that has worked for me and my clients has been meditation. Meditation quiets your mind and body, helping you focus on what you need to. I know when I first tried meditation I didn't believe in it and thought it was kind of weird. But once I practiced for a bit, my life starting changing. Becoming more relaxed and able to focus on my life, really put things into a new perspective.
I realized how unhappy I was and I didn't know how I got so far away from being me. I struggled with finding my true purpose in life. Going from one industry to another trying to make a living. My life was not fun and exciting, I wanted to be my own boss and help others. Once I was able to meditate and ask my inner-self or my guides/angels for guidance, I started seeing signs and noticing synchronicities. Having dreams about being a life coach and traveling internationally. The universe was guiding me down the path of least resistance. I then knew what I needed to do. Get certified as a life coach and help others succeed in what they desire in life.
One day I was browsing the internet and found a school online to become certified and they had all their courses 75% off. Hello if that wasn't a sign than I don't know what would be. I had signed up immediately. After completion I worked on myself. Why? Because if you are not where you want to be how can you help others, family, friends etc. The one time you get that feeling you are in the right place at the right time, or you just feel something good is coming, you are on the right path to finding your true self. You will get more confidence. Life nowadays is not as easy as it used to be. The world has grown and continues to expand into more technology, recession, etc. Knowing where you want to be and that you Will get there is a big step.
Once you get a hang of meditating, which I recommend at the least 5-10 minutes in the morning you will be ready for the next step. The next step is when you listen to your intuition. Your inner being will help guide you on your life's journey. Opportunities will start coming to you, and you will get excited. Take these opportunities only if they feel right. If you can visualize or picture yourself doing something, whether it's a new job, or moving to another state or country, if you feel good about it do it. Don't let fears or anxiety stop you from finding and being your true self. Don't let anyone try to stop you from doing what you want and what you know is best for you!
There is always more to explore around you and inside yourself. My advice is to practice meditation and work on reprogramming any limiting beliefs as well. I will talk more about limiting beliefs in my next blog post. Everything is a process and varies with time. Never give up and keep pushing forward. You will be surprised at how easily things start happening for you. But for now let's get you back on track and living your best life, as you want!
